Armani Exchange for Club 21
Armani Exchange is a fashion brand that is heavily inspired by street-chic culture and dance music. For this particular project, I was tasked to create a t-shirt design with the theme of rebellion and in an effort to promote Armani Exchange through an event.
The mood board picks out iconic elements such as studs, music bands, graffiti, and overall edge that add to the Punk, Rock, and Roll ambiance. With these keywords in mind, the visual elements were identified with these few anchors: Edgy – through the use of textures, placements, and collages; Hardcore Rock and roll – monochromes with a dash of vibrant red for contrast.

Graphics
The illustration revolves around the idea of college band stickers that were prevalent during the times of punk/rock era. Overlaying both outline and filled illustration to give it contrast. Portraying the unintentional / intentional reinvented collage look, in a modern and cleaner approach. Taking into a more playful approach, the illustration styles are fun, energetic and has a certain character flair to it. Using different items to represent street wear, punk, rock and roll to tie it all together.
Colours
The colour palette chosen compliments these traits, with red to represent the rock and roll element, a pop of yellow for energy and vibrancy, put against black as the background, bringing it all together.
